What is the difference between Fibreglass parts and Urethane parts?
Fibreglass parts are made by combining a fibreglass cloth with resin, and hand laying it onto a (open) female mould. There are two processes for making fibreglass parts, chopper-gun and hand-laid. Some manufacturers, l only use hand-laid which is more labour intensive than chopper gun but the quality of the fibreglass is far superior. Fibreglass parts have a gel coat (primer) surface, which can be sanded and painted on. A primer coat is usually required before painting. Fibreglass parts may crack if they are stressed or impacted. Fibreglass body kit parts usually require pre-fitting onto the car before they are painted and installed
Urethane parts are made by injecting the urethane material into a closed mould. Urethane is a flexible material that is similar to most of the original bumpers on current existing autos. It will not crack like fibreglass when it is stressed, however impacts or stress may damage the paint surface. Urethane is the best material to make aerodynamic parts out of since it is made in a moulded process. This ensures that each part is consistent, so the fit is virtually guaranteed. Like fibreglass, urethane parts require prepping and priming before painting. Although the process used for urethane can be more labour intensive than fibreglass, urethane is still far superior in quality than fibreglass. See the prepping and painting FAQs in the Tech. Section.
If I can’t find a body kit for my car can I make a body kit for another model fit?
Yes and no.
Yes because with enough body work and enough work done to the body kit itself, the particular kit could be made to fit your car. With enough work you can put a body kit on a boat if you want. But keep in mind, with enough work. We do not recommend this approach, and if there are no body kits listed on our site give us a call and to if we have products in our inventory that are just not up on the site. If your car is listed on the site, and has body kits, those are all the ones that we have on hand at the moment.
No because there is never a guarantee that even after all the time and money you’ve put into a kit not designed for your model it still might not fit. As stated above, this approach will take a lot of modification and is not recommend by us or any of the manufacturers.
Do you offer/produce custom or “one off” body kits?
We do not produce one offs because we are not a manufacturer, Rangeover is a distributor for many body kits manufacturers that offer mass-produced body kits to reduce costs to the everyday consumer like yourself.
However, if you’d like you can call or e-mail us to check if any of our manufacturers are producing custom designed body kits at the time.
Who is the freight company used to ship your products and how long does it take to ship my order? Will I get a tracking number for my order?
We use Overnight Freight Company to deliver all of our larger boxed products. Upon the request of the customer, DHL or other freight companies can be used. However, we do not recommend using other companies to freight because they tend to be charge exorbitant amount of money due to the shear size of the boxes that are used to ship these parts.
Provided everything with your order goes through without hiccups or alteration by you, an order is usually shipped within one to two business days of confirmation and has an average delivery time of two weeks nationwide.
Once your item has shipped and we have received a tracking number we will e-mail it to you or you can check it using our automated system from this site using your e-mail and the password you created at checkout.
I live in England or I'm willing to drive to pick up my order, is this even possible?
Yes, this is of course possible. However your order will need to be placed before coming in, we are not a store but a warehouse and you cannot go into the back to browse all of our products due to insurance reasons.

Technical FAQ:
Are body kits easy to install myself?
Although not easy, body kits can be installed without the help of a garage, do realize that you’re still going to want to paint your parts too, and unless you have the know-how and equipment to paint it yourself, you will have to go to a professional for this step of the process. All of our products, unless noted otherwise do not come pre-drilled. Sometimes, due to the nature of the material used to produce these products minor and sometimes even major work will need to be done to your body kit or car for a precise fit. We recommend having a professional shop do the installation if you are not experienced.
Do I have to drill into my cars in order to install my body kit?
Possibly. You will most likely be able to secure the part by drilling the part and bolting it to the stock bolt holes, but in cases where the part does not feel secure, you may elect to drill additional holes to bolt the part on more securely.
Will I be able to reuse the factory hardware that I take off from my car while uninstalling the factory parts that I will be replacing?
Factory hardware is only used to secure the front and rear bumper replacements. We suggest you save all of the factory screws, clips & etc., along with any parts removed in case you ever want to return the car to a stock condition at a later time.
Should I do a “test-fit” onto my car before painting or altering my body kit?
PLEASE DO! We strongly recommend that you check fit the parts before you paint the parts. This will insure you have the correct parts and also allow you to check the fit prior prepping and painting. As stated in our Terms and Conditions parts that are prepped, painted or altered in anyway cannot be returned for credit or exchange.
Do I have to remove the factory reinforcement before installing my body kit?
No, we do not recommend that the original reinforcement be removed. On some front and rear bumper replacements you do have to remove the foam support cushion, trim the reinforcement a little bit or even get rid of it all together. Where possible we recommend that you keep it there, however as stated above some kits will require that the bar be altered or removed all together.
